GESI NEWS: (COVID-19) Motorized Modular Fumigator donated to Bayelsa State Government

Recently, to combat the deadly corona virus, the Bayelsa state government received a donation of a motorized fumigating machine by the Ooni of Ife. The motorized modular fumigator  is designed specifically for the fight against the prevailing corona virus pandemic.

The presentation was made by the spokesman to the Ooni of Ife, Mr.Moses Olafare, while addressing the government representative, he stated that the good gesture is part of their efforts to support the state Government to combat COVID-19 in Bayelsa state and the nation. to show our commitment in the eradication of this deadly pandemic, the monarch donates the machine and other items to encourage the effort of the Senator Douye Diri lead administration in the battle against the covid-19 pandemic.

while receiving the items,  the secretary to state government, Rt. Hon. Friday Konbowei Benson on behalf of the State thanked the monarch for the kind gesture and also reiterated that it is only working collectively despite political and socio- cultural differences we can win this war that is bedeviling the entire world. He further assure the Ooni of Ife that items donated will be used for the benefit of all in Bayelsa state.

The secretary to the state government appreciates them for making the symbolic presentation to assist the Government and the good people of Bayelsa State in this challenging era. He also used the medium to thank the law abiding citizens of the State for their positive response to government directives.
